As an Ohio DUI Attorney, I represent people who are involved in drinking and driving incidents.

When I was growing up near Lake Erie, it never occurred to me that I might become an Ohio DUI Attorney. I always dreamed of following in my father's footsteps by gliding across those glinting Great Lake waters fishing for yellow perch. As a teenager, however, I excelled in school and was encouraged to pursue post-secondary education.

It was while attending Ohio University in Athens, Ohio that I first started thinking about a career as an Ohio DWI lawyer. After completing my law degree at the University of Cincinnati, I joined a law firm in Cleveland.

For the past ten years, I have worked as an Ohio DUI Attorney, helping people through the often complicated legal process following a conviction for DUI (Driving Under the Influence) or DWI (Driving While Intoxicated). My work as an attorney has been both tiring and rewarding.

Drunk Driving Laws are constantly changing and morphing depending on new sobriety testing strategies and on pressure from lobby groups. As a result, my job as an Ohio DUI Attorney involves constantly staying afloat of these legal developments. I am, however, dedicated to perpetually up-dating my knowledge.

As an Ohio DUI Attorney, I have helped countless people through a difficult time in their lives. A DUI or DWI has serious consequences. Without the help of a good Ohio DUI lawyer the gravity of these consequences increases. In almost all cases, the driver's license will be suspended, but other penalties -ranging from DUI school to a jail sentence- can vary dramatically. As a lawyer, it is my job to make sure that people convicted of DUI or DWI are given a fair trial.

My clients are not all low lives or alcoholics. People can be convicted of a DUI with a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of as low as 0.08, which for many people is only a glass or two of wine. Clients that have desired my services as an Ohio DUI Attorney have ranged from college students slurring home from a keg party to rich business men who enjoyed a few too many glasses of champagne after signing an important deal.

As an Ohio DUI Attorney, it is certainly not my job to moralize about DUI or DWI, however, I do think these are serious offences. In fact, in the past, I have been involved in policy-making decisions concerning DUI and DWI legislation. The past few years have been exciting ones for any Ohio DUI Attorney because the laws have changed substantially as a response to heightened public awareness of the seriousness of DUI and DWI.

Thus far, I have found my career as an Ohio DWI lawyer to be extremely stimulating, and action-packed. I would certainly recommend a career as an Ohio DUI Attorney as a possibility to any young law students or aspiring law students. I hope to continue working as a lawyer for the next twenty years.
